Frequently Asked Questions

  • Booking In
    It’s easy, download Momence app and create an account or book via our 'bookings' page on our website. Check out our class schedule and book into a class that suits you! Easy peasy!
  • Late Cancellations
    Oh, Hey! Pilates has a 6 hour cancellation window. A late cancel or no show to class will result with a loss of the session. Members will be charged a $15 fee if cancelled within the 6 hour period and a $15 fee for a no show. Cancellations must be made via the Momence app, we will not take any emails/text/calls for cancellations. Please, if you think you won’t make it to a class, cancel as early as possible, as this allows others, who may be on the wait list, to get to come to the class. Please be aware our front door is locked 5 minutes after class start time. Late comers will be denied entry to class as this is disruptive to other members and your instructor. If you are late to class you will forfeit your class session if you have a class pack or will be charged the $15 fee for members.
  • What Do I Wear
    Comfortable clothing, nothing too loose or extremely flowing, as it may get caught in the machine. Please wear socks whilst on the reformer. Grippy socks are preferred, to help with traction and balance, and are available for purchase in the studio.
  • Newbie
    If you are new, please arrive 10 minutes prior to class. We will settle you in, show you around and explain the reformer beds to you. Oh, Hey! Pilates has absolutely no expectations of you. We will give you options throughout the class, please do not feel as though you must do what everyone else is doing. Remember, everyone was once a beginner. Listen to your body, and take breaks when you need them.
  • Have An Injury Or Recovering From One
    Please let your instructor know of any injuries or niggles you may have, whether they are new or old. We take note of this in our system and will ensure that you will practice safely, giving you modifications to certain exercises if required. However, if your injury is of concern, please do not be offended if your instructor insists you seek medical advice before attending a class.
  • Pregnant Or Just Had A Baby
    We request that you discuss the return of exercise post-partum with your doctor. If you get the all clear, please email us at ohheypilates@gmail.com and we will make a time to have a chat prior to your first class. We have mums and bubs friendly classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9.15am. If you are pregnant, and your pregnancy is uncomplicated, you can join us in any Level 1, Booty or Flex and Flow class. Our highly skilled instructors are trained in pre and post natal Pilates, and understand the guidelines around exercise during pregnancy. Our studio also supplies pregnancy wedges to support you during class (wedges to be used from 20+ weeks).
  • Age Limit
    You must be 18 years or over to attend Oh Hey Pilates classes. If you are under 18 we ask you to attend class with a legal parent or guardian. There is no upper age limit, as long as you are wanting to keep your body moving, we can help!
  • Student Discount
    Full-time and part-time students are eligible for 10% discount on memberships. Please email ohheypilates@gmail.com to find out more.
  • Phones
    We love a great Instagram pic, so please get snap happy (and tag us @oh.hey.pilates), but as soon as class has started we have a strict no phones policy. Please do not have your phones on you during class. And please remember to either put your phone on silent or turn it off before class starts, as there is nothing more annoying than a phone ringing mid lunge.
